在“双碳”发展趋势下,企业不断嵌入彼此的生产与交易过程,供应链逐步演化为高度互联的复杂网络结构,碳排放强度逐渐成为影响企业在供应链网络中结构性地位的重要因素。论文基于2010—2022年我国沪深A股上市公司数据构建供应链复杂网络,使用PageRank算法度量网络中心性,探讨企业碳排放强度对其供应链网络中心性的影响。结果表明,碳排放强度与企业供应链网络中心性显著负相关。采用工具变量法和倾向得分匹配法解决内生性问题,并通过替换碳排放强度指标等稳健性检验,结论依然成立。机制检验表明,碳排放强度通过加剧融资约束、抑制绿色创新能力以及削弱企业声誉三条路径作用于供应链网络中心性。异质性分析发现,碳排放强度对供应链网络中心性的负向影响在低行业竞争度、低环境规制、未实施碳排放交易制度的地区以及非重污染行业中更为显著。研究从供应链网络结构视角出发,为提升企业绿色治理水平、优化供应链网络结构提供理论支撑与实证依据。
Abstract:Against the backdrop of China’s dual-carbon strategy,firms are increasingly embedded in interconnected production and transaction networks,leading supply chains to evolve into complex and highly interconnected structures.Consequently,carbon emission intensity has emerged as a key determinant of firms’ structural positions within supply chain networks.Using data from Chinese A-share listed firms from 2010 to 2022,this study constructs a supply chain network and applies the PageRank algorithm to measure network centrality,examining the impact of firms’ carbon emission intensity on their supply chain network positions.The results indicate a significant negative relationship between carbon emission intensity and firms’ supply chain network centrality.The findings remain robust after addressing endogeneity through instrumental variable and propensity score matching approaches,as well as through alternative measures of carbon emission intensity.Mechanism analyses reveal that carbon emission intensity affects supply chain network centrality by exacerbating financing constraints,inhibiting green innovation,and weakening corporate reputation.Heterogeneity analyses further show that the negative effect is more pronounced in industries with lower competition intensity,regions with weaker environmental regulation,areas without carbon emission trading schemes,and non-polluting industries.From a supply chain network perspective,this study provides theoretical and empirical evidence for enhancing corporate green governance and optimizing supply chain network structures.
